Ring Guilt

A year or two ago, they had women call into Eric and Kathy on the mix that had a thing they deemed as "ring guilt."  Ring guilt is when a woman feels guilty that she got such a beautiful and expensive ring while the man didn't get anything in return (besides unconditional love, of course).  Some women called in saying that they got their men expensive watches, vacations, and even a Mustang (that must have been quite a ring!)

Well, I decided that I had ring guilt as well, so I made Ricky this card....and my have gotten him a PS3.  I have created a Madden 11 addict...  Anybody know the return policy on used PS3s?  ;)

You Simply Shine

I needed to make a long over-due thank you card, so I decided to use one of my favorite designs.  I made the original at a class at Archiver in Orland Park and have made it many times since.
I like the sentiment "you simply shine," and it fits with the vintage lampshades.  Very punny!  My favorite is adding the "bling" to the middle shade.

It's a Boy!

Ricky's second cousin had a baby boy this past week.  In order to help welcome little Cooper into the world, I made this card.  It's rather simple, but I'm happy with the final product!  I love using brads lately, so I added 4 white ones into the corners.
